Field Notes from the Soul

🌀 “Meeting the Imposter at the Canvas: My Bold Journey Feature”

On navigating doubt, reclaiming worth, and honoring the creative self

I was recently invited to share a piece of my journey with Bold Journey, in an interview that asked:
“Have you ever dealt with imposter syndrome? How did you move through it?”

The timing was divine. This question has echoed through many seasons of my creative life — whether standing in front of a blank canvas, holding space for others in workshops, or returning to my artistic roots after time away.

In this feature, I open up about the inner voices that make us shrink, and the deeper knowing that calls us to rise — softly, fully, and on our own terms.

Here are short stories, poems I’ve written at different times.

As an avid reader, my fondest memory as a child was reading the works of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables. I also resonated with her character Anne’s way of seeing the world and used to write alot as a hobby.

A short story about Earth, humanity, spirituality and evolution.
